This is delightful. Genius.
Prada, this will make me love you forever.
A truly beautiful and elegant collection, with a bit of Steampunk, a bit of Mod and a bit of old-fashioned style, just how I like clothes.
I am very impressed.

Sturm und Drang forever and ever and ever and ever. This is what I can identify with.
Never underestimate feelings.

Oh, lovely lovely summer holidays.
He never wants to show his face.
Lewis Carroll
“SISTER, sister, go to bed!
Go and rest your weary head.”
Thus the prudent brother said.
“Do you want a battered hide,
Or scratches to your face applied?”
Thus his sister calm replied.
“Sister, do not raise my wrath.
I’d make you into mutton broth
As easily as kill a moth”
The sister raised her beaming eye
And looked on him indignantly
And sternly answered, “Only try!”
Off to the cook he quickly ran.
“Dear Cook, please lend a frying-pan
To me as quickly as you can.”
“And wherefore should I lend it you?”
“The reason, Cook, is plain to view.
I wish to make an Irish stew.”
“What meat is in that stew to go?”
“My sister’ll be the contents!”
“Oh”
“You’ll lend the pan to me, Cook?”
“No!”

A while ago I got this tiny little camera as a present:
The pictures it takes are very small and quite blurred, but I still find them kind of beautiful in their special blurred ugly way.
I had brought it to school for a few days to take lots of little blurred photos of my surrounding. That was 7 months ago, but somehow I didn’t want to show them until now.
I didn’t edit them in any way.

Dear Pirates,
I never found a blog more beautiful than Catarina‘s. It will be my favourite one forever.
She is kind, beautiful and has great taste.
When I grow tired of reading too many blogs, hers always is like a refreshment to remember me how good some blogs can be. I adore it.
Thanks, Catarina.
I think you have become something like another role model to me. No matter how I think about it I just cannot believe that you are almost the same age as me.
“Little Women” was nice (here!), but Louisa May Alcott also wrote lots of beautiful, enchanting poems.
What do you think of these? It looks like she was interested in a sailor’s life as much as I am.
‘Give me freshening breeze, my boys,
A white and swelling sail,
A ship that cuts the dashing waves,
And weathers every gale.
What life is like a sailor’s life,
So free, so bold, so brave?
His home the ocean’s wide expanse,
A coral bed his grave.’
Or this one:
”And if your Nancy frowns, my lad,
And scorns a jacket blue,
Just hoist your sails for other ports,
And find a maid more true.”
I just love poems.

I love Advent calendars.
I love how there are so many beautiful ones.
I love how you are able to buy a new one ever year.
I love to open the little doors and get a surprise every day.
They are just LOVELY.
Chocolate is nice, of course, but picture or text calendars are often more beautiful and on top of that you can keep them and use them again a few years later!
This is the new one. A present by my mum… So, chocolate it is, this year.
I also have clothes to go with it…

…I could fit into my calendar, maybe?
…Like this? :
Greeting, my dear sailors and passengers.
I look forward to opening the first little door tomorrow!

New Romantic is far too interesting to keep it to myself.
Tom Waits is inspiration.
Don’t ask me why, but I just love his music and his person.

Taken from: http://badasme.com/
To quote a comment from YouTube: “That’s not the devil. That’s god when he is drunk.”
I can’t explain why, but he, his music and the image he built around him is so fascinating.
Although I haven’t mentioned him here before he is already inspiring me for quite a while.

Came back from the beautiful port of Hamburg on wednesday and am now enjoying the rest of my autumn holidays.
Can’t refuse being lazy in spite of all the work that is waiting to be done.
“Little Women” is very nice, have you ever read it?
